Comparative (karşılaştırmalı) sıfatlar, iki nesne veya kişiyi karşılaştırmak için kullanılır. Superlative (en üstün derece) sıfatlar ise bir gruptaki nesne ya da kişiler arasında en üstün olanı belirtmek için kullanılır. İşte bazı cümle örnekleri:
