Superlative ifadeler, bir nesne veya kişinin bir grup içindeki en üst veya en alt sırada olduğunu belirten sıfat veya zarflardır. İngilizcede genellikle “-est” eki veya “the most” / “the least” kelimeleri ile yapılır.
1. Tallest: Tom, sınıftaki en uzun öğrencidir.

5. Least interesting: Bu, okuduğum en ilgisiz kitaptır.
– (This is the least interesting book I have read.)
6. Fastest: Usain Bolt, dünyanın en hızlı koşucusudur.
– (Usain Bolt is the fastest runner in the world.)
7. Most expensive: Bu, gördüğüm en pahalı arabalardan biridir.
– (This is one of the most expensive cars I have seen.)
Superlative kullanımı, özellikle karşılaştırmalar yapılırken önemlidir ve dil becerilerini zenginleştirir.
