Causative yapı, bir kişinin başka birini bir eylemi yapması için görevlendirmesi veya izin vermesi durumunda kullanılır. İngilizcede genellikle “have”, “get”, “make” ve “let” fiilleri ile kullanılır. İşte bazı örnekler:
